Danielle Lovell-Walsh - Preschool Songs and Poems Writer

My name is Danielle Lovell-Walsh and I'm the Preschool Songs and Poems writer. I have a wonderful two year old boy named Aidan and we live in sunny Southern California. We are originally from Upstate New York but our son was born in New Orleans, LA. I enjoy reading, writing, scrapbooking, knitting, and anything musical or crafty. As a family, my husband, son and I love to go for walks on the beach or at the park.

I have worked with preschoolers and children of all ages for most of my life. I love teaching preschoolers the joys of music and poetry. I find that it gives them a chance to express themselves and learn new skills. It is important to me to help preschoolers to learn how to communicate and socialize. By teaching dance and music to these children I see a difference in their social skills almost immediately.

I have a self published book of poetry, Poetry of Life, and another book is in the process of being written now. Having written articles for various newspapers, I have had the pleasure of having a large audience of readers. I've attended SUNY Brockport in New York majoring in Literature and Theater, and I'm currently going to UMUC majoring in Psychology. My love for music has also kept me playing the flute now for 18 or so years and I'm currently performing with a musical comedy group here in California.

My knowledge of music and preschoolers will help me give you the best reviews of the new music out there aimed at preschoolers. I have a great understanding of how important it is to be happy and healthy. I'll be using my dance experience to give you some great “moves” for you and your preschooler to do together during these songs. Poetry is fun for all, and I'll take my writing experience and put it to good use giving you some fun “new” preschool songs and poems for you both to enjoy!
