Rainy Day Poem
Rainy Day Poem
Today it's raining,So what should we do?
Lets name the pieces,
On me and on you.
Two eyes that see,
Two ears that hear,
A nose that smells,
A mouth to cheer!
A head to nod,
And shoulders to shrug,
Two legs to run,
Two arms to hug.
It might be gloomy,
It might be grey,
But we can have fun,
Anyway!
Now try it with the movements:
So what should we do?
Lets name the pieces,
On me and on you.
Two eyes that see, (point to eyes)
Two ears that hear, (point to ears)
A nose that smells, (point to nose)
A mouth to cheer! (when you say cheer, cheer really loud!)
A head to nod, (nod your head)
And shoulders to shrug, (shrug your shoulders)
Two legs to run, (run in place)
Two arms to hug. (hug your arms around yourself)
It might be gloomy, (make a frowning face and put your hands on your hips)
It might be grey, (keep your frowning face and pretend to pout)
But we can have fun, (make a happy face)
Anyway! (now cheer)
